Capitol Latino

Politics, Culture, Reporters, Thieves

Tonight I waited a table of vacationing Californians for the second consecutive night. They were extremely pleasant folks, Americans exploring America at the dawn of their “Golden Years” together. Most-important to professional me, they were good tippers.

They paid with plastic but tipped in cash.   The American waiter prefers a cash tip.  This much, the husband already knew.  As they left, he handed me eight dollars, saying, “Now, this is for you. I don’t tip for the government.”
