28 September 2009 A Public Option Win-Win for Lawmakers
Lawmakers should take all the money they possibly can from the health care industry lobby, pinky swear to every health care lobbyist they know that they will oppose the public option, and then vote for a public option strong enough to demolish private insurance companies by offering better coverage for cheaper. This would appease their constituents’ interests and demands, while mitigating private health care’s corporate retribution.
